We are ambitious.

We will shape the future.

We are #atomicgirls

The Atomic Girls event recognises the vital role aspiring female engineers and scientists can play in making an impact on global economic matters. In partnership with Capita plc, we have designed a day to inspire Key Stage 3 learners, in years 7 and 8, across North Tyneside with a cross-curricular workshop offering pupils the opportunity to apply STEM knowledge and skills to solve topical problems.

Influential female professionals from Capita will be there to inspire and mentor alongside the Atomic Skills team, to deliver a packed agenda to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day 2019.

We'll explore global sustainable development goals through design thinking to lead to a strong understanding of how STEM disciplines interact in the real world to influence innovation and change.
